PCC is committed to fostering faith and fellowship among its families. There are two fellowship groups for parents – one for those with kids in Middle or High School, and one for parents of younger children.  Also, once a year over Memorial Day weekend, we offer family camp at Lodestar, located near Jackson in the Sierra foothills.

F.U.N. (Family Unity Night) - Parents of children from newborn to 6th grade gather 5-6 times a year for a potluck dinner or a “parents’ night out.”  Pizza and fun activities are offered for the kids at church.  What could be better!  Contact Director of Children’s Ministry Leslie Quantz for more information.

MIDDLE SCHOOL / HIGH SCHOOL PARENTS FELLOWSHIP

A lay ministry volunteer group of parents organizes a potluck with guided discussions around topics of interest to parents of teens and meets in the home of a family a few times a year. You can contact Pastor for Students, Rev. Scott Kail for more information.

Check the upcoming events page to see if there are any potlucks scheduled for the near future.

LODESTAR FAMILY CAMP

One of the favorite traditions at PCC is the annual family fellowship retreat at Lodestar camp on Memorial Day weekend. It’s a fun time for children of all ages – from the very young to the young at heart.  There are a variety of accommodations, with the word "camp" adapted to your own definitions! Bonds of friendship are made, laughs abound, and kids stay active with both athletic and creative offerings. Softball games, creek wading, games in the swimming pool, drinks outdoors and conversation among the adults, and the hilarious talent show are just a few highlights. Contact Leslie Quantz for more information.
